Banshee

Two weeks after a great 1.2 release, we are happy to announce Banshee 1.2.1! This release is mostly a maintenance update with 25 fixed bugs, lots of updated translations, and a few small enhancements that we re sure will please. Read all about the new release, and download it now!

Banshee developers Aaron Bockover and Gabriel Burt gave a talk at GUADEC 2008, the annual GNOME conference. They gave demos of Banshee's features, talked about how easy Banshee is to extend, and discussed plans for the next couple releases. Their slides are available.

Banshee developers will be attending GUADEC 2008 in Istanbul, Turkey July 7 - 12th. There will be a Banshee talk, Birds of a Feather meeting, and 5-minute lightning talk.

Banshee 1.0 Beta 2 was recently reviewed in Ars Technica and an older Alpha review was published in Linux Magazine.
